storage!!Here we have my other half`s pride and joy. She is absolutely gutted to be selling this but she has just has her license revoked for 6 months . More pics on request. If your looking at this then you should already know about the cars.They are very desirable cars and what makes this 1 even more so is that its completely standard which is very rare for 1 of these. They are basically a road going rally cars and capable of upstaging quite a few so called super cars. The car is an animal,in the dry,wet or snow due to its ayc system. Press the button on the dash to select the weather conditions and off you go. The cars produces 305bhp as standard and you can tell. If its in the right gear at the right time it will keep up with most things. What made this car even better was that its completely standard with no silly add ons/remaps etc which with these nowadays is quite rare!! Engine wise the car is spot on. These have to be serviced every 4500 miles/6 months (car is on 81k) and this 1 has which is rare. The amount of stamps/history with the car is unreal and this is why we bought the car (think there is 19 stamps in all). On the last service (20/04/12) it had engine oil/filter changed,the gear box oil replaced as it was becoming a little stiff with the temperatures dropping and the ayc checked. It occasionally has a slight notch going into 5th on high boost but its fine driven normally. Told this is a common problem on the evo forums. I had a front wheel bearing replaced and had some uprated discs/pads fitted on the front as there was a slight judder when breaking. The ayc fluids where checked and there fine as we had them done a couple of services ago. It is looked after by Dave at autotec northwest and he can vouch for it being a good clean car. We had a ralliart evo 6 before this which was a very harsh ride comparing the 2. I personally preferred the look of the 6 but the mrs wanted something newer and this was the 1. Bodywork is in good condition apart from a few blisters on the rear wheel arches,common problem on the later evo`s and nearly everyone suffer. I spent a weekend under-sealing the car with wax oil before xmas so all is good on the underside. The car will go basically anywhere in any conditions. When all the 4x4`s where getting stuck the other winter,this went through the snow with no problems at all. Will come with around 6 months mot and 4 months tax. The car now has a set of evo 9 enkei alloys with bridgestone tyres all round. It Has had the track rod ends done last month and the right hand side front suspension stripped,greased and rebuilt due to a creaking noise. Dave@autotec advised that possibly the wheel bearing may have slight play on the same side but that was before the full strut was rebuilt and there is no noise at all from it.The car was last serviced on the 20/4/12 and has covered around 20 mile since.Im currently working long night shifts so give me a txt on 07742993711.I myself maybe looking for another car along the lines of a mk1 audi tt/s3,cupra r 225,330d msport so if you have 1 =0)The car is also advertised elsewhere so i have the right to remove at anytime.Any questions please ask.
